Interpreting Voice

Interpreting voice was a project from Graduate Studio 1. The project incorporated typographic print design and motion typography as a means of expressing the voice of a piece of poetry. For this project, I chose an untitled piece about the loneliness of laundromats.

Interpreting Voice was a project for my first graduate design studio at Carnegie Mellon University. The project incorporated typographic design, visual design, and motion typography. Interpreting Voice required envisioning a piece of poetry in three phases: as a typographic design piece, as animated motion typography, and a final graphic-typographic presentation, as shown above.
