The Cook Residence is a home I helped collaboratively design with Malcolm Davis Architecture in the famed Modernist housing development, the Sea Ranch. The ground-up design was intended as a vacation and weekend home for a family from the Bay Area. The home’s design was driven by the client’s desire to create a series of framed views that would allow visual and physical access to Sea Ranch’s magnificent natural beauty—and to create inviting, open spaces for the family to relax and enjoy their time away from work and the city.
